RJC Elects New Board Members for 2025

The Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC) has announced its newly elected Board of Directors for 2025, consisting of a broad and diverse representation across the value chain, with individuals bringing deep expertise from mining to retail.

Dave Meleski, Chairman, RJC, said, “We are thrilled to welcome our new and returning Board members. Their collective experience across the entire jewellery and watch value chain will be invaluable as we continue to drive positive change and uphold the highest standards of integrity and sustainability within our industry.”

Among those elected are:

  • Purvi Shah (De Beers Group) – re-elected, Diamond, Gold, Gemstones and/or Platinum-Group Metals Producer Forum
  • Antonio Samaniego (Minera Chalhuane) – elected, Diamond, Gold, Gemstones and/or Platinum-Group Metals Producer Forum
  • Aagam Sanghavi (Accur8 Diamonds) – elected, Diamond & Gemstone Trader/Cutter/Polisher Forum
  • Alice Vanni (Italpreziosi) – elected, Precious Metals Traders/Refiners/Hedgers Forum
  • Leo Daguet (LVMH) – elected, Jewellery and Watch Manufacturer/Wholesaler Forum
  • Marianne Zani (Chanel) – elected, Jewellery & Watch Retailer Forum
  • Didier Backaert (Bonas) – elected, Service Industries Forum
  • Gaetano Cavalieri (CIBJO) – re-elected, Trade Association Forum
