The third edition of the India-SAARC- Middle East Buyer-Seller Meet (BSM), organised by The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council, commenced yesterday at Hyderabad.

The BSM, organised with the objective of  identifying  and developing  new trade opportunities and to increase direct exports of plain and studded jewellery to various International destinations is being held from April 29, 2018 to May1,  2018. The format of the BSM is such as to create a very  focused business matching programme.

A total of 92 international buyers from 15 countries are attending the BSM; at which    50 prominent Indian jewellery manufacturers are showcasing their best jewellery.

Buyers from Algeria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Iran, Jordan, KSA, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Oman, Singapore, Sri Lanka, UAE, UK & USA have been invited to the event.

The GJEPC has always endeavoured to highlight the potential of the gems and jewellery products from India, whether diamonds, coloured gemstones, jewellery or any other product. The organisation has also done a stellar job of both showcasing the capabilities and abilities of the gems and jewellery and promoting it worldwide.

The India-SAARC-Middle East BSM is one such initiative in that direction.
